Holy shit! That's a lot of dub languages for an anime? Has any anime ever gotten that many dubs? I don't even think Naruto or One Piece have gotten that many.

Netflix is a joke with this. They had to wait a few months after the Japanese debut to air it in the US Netflix and now they have only dubbed the 1st half. Please stay away from anime, Netflix.

Caught the first couple episodes of the English dub, it is decent enough.

It would be immensely interesting to see what the numbers are for anime on Netflix. My curiosity is killing me. I want this show to do well, just probably won't actually buy it because... you know... PonyCan...

I'll have to check again but I thought the second season was dubbed on Netflix as well.
I checked and its now only subbed but earlier it was dubbed. My guess is they messed up. Last edited by levonr on Sat Dec 17, 2016 5:30 am; edited 1 time in total |

Yes, there a dozen anime that have gotten dubs in a lot more languages. Such as Pokémon, Dragon Ball, Shin Chan (31 languages) etc. |

Can you give some proof or can someone else corroborate that?
Except it's no Pokémon, Dragon Ball or Shin Chan... |

Remove the google part of your url... Well, if Chris Beveridge, which the ANN staff can undoubtly vouch for, claims that, I'm inclined to believe. Not it that makes sense. Adding dub early to second season only, removing it when adding dub to first season, to re-add it next year... No, it doesn't make sense. ... ... Netflix, either change your management, or bow out of the anime business, you obviously don't know what you're doing... |

I really like this show, and was hoping to get the dub of the second season before the end of the year, because I'm in the middle of it, and wanted to see my unwatched episodes dubbed, but I suppose they're waiting for *all* the foreign language dubs to be ready before they release the English dub.

I know what I'm watching on Christmas. Last year was The Seven Deadly Sins, this year is Kuromukuro.

This. At least when Amazon was airing "Kabaneri", they didn't delay it. While I prefer Netflix to Hulu in terms of being ad-free for basic membership, at least Hulu is more consistent with not delaying the simulcast. |

Amazon is by far the worst. At least Netflix is consistent with their release strategy. Who knows what the hell Amazon is doing with The Great Passage.... I'm not even going to give them the benefit of the doubt and wait for their stream if Scum's Wish isn't streaming by the middle of next season. |
