I loled super hard. 2006-2007 were fun times. I loved the Haruhi craze

She burned any chance of being an idol years ago.

I feel old. Still remember the time when she was a biggest name in the industry alongside Mamoru Miyano. It's a little bit cruel that one wrong move can screw up your entire career.

Idols are "supposed" to be pure and untainted by the opposite sex, to appease the minority of deranged fans and put money in the coffers of their managers and higher ups. This is bad and often leads to corporate tyranny because the idols end up miserable and start dating against the tyrants and fans wishes or worse a even more tyrannical tabloid publication falsely accuses them with being with a person of the opposite sex or being a JAV star even a ring can set the tabloids and deranged fans off.

I think it depends on the idol. Shokotan has had boyfriends and talks about inappropriate stuff all the time, and her fans love it.

Yeah I think there was some sarcasm you missed in there.

Wherever Aya-san may find herself in resulting from this quiz, I wish her the best of luck.

Me, too. She is more talented as a seiyuu than she often gets credit for. Migi was quite an impressive role as was Chizuko in Nijuu Mensou no Musume. Her delivery of a line near the end of episode three got my "line of the year" award.

Yeah, it's pretty sad to see when that happens in Japan. They don't want their stars to have any semblance of personal choice. It's such a fragile industry.
