If One Punch Man get noticed by some big names, it would be thrilling to have a live action version done by Hollywood. They seemed to be pretty good in adapting the whole superhero stuff.

^Liam Neeson for Saitama!

It's good to see One-Punch Man get the acknowledgement and recognition it so well deserves.

That's only in regards to graphic novels though. I would wonder why One Punch Man got so popular in the states vis other manga since its not that popular in Japan vis other manga like Kingdom or Terra Formars. I think it's because it's about (male) superheros.

Probably because people really like superheroes in the west. Also, hasn't the webcomic gotten like 10 million hits or something along those lines? I wouldn't necessarily consider that "not that popular." Also, there are female superheros in it too (Fubuki, Tatsumaki)

The problem is that OPM is too Japanese to be adaptable in Hollywood unless they change names. At least with "Tiger & Bunny," the cast is diverse enough for Hollywood to get away with it.

The memes weren't a big enough indicator?
