It would be more realistic if wasn't maintained, so that would save the council a bit of dosh

It's great that its staying open and all, but Aichi is a bit of a pain in the ass to get to.

I've already seen it, but as a tourist I'd rather it were more accessible, say at the Ghibli Museum in Tokyo. The museum's in a park that can certainly afford to lose a few hundred square feet to the museum.

But I'm sure they considered that, and perhaps the Suginami ward wasn't willing to pay for the upkeep while the Aichi wasrd was...

I've been to Aichi. It was a real trek to get there.

I think the house will be better placed in Mitaka.
The scenery was pretty cool in Aichi.
