I am a raving lunatic of a fan for the games (and very angry that Blue Sphere was never translated). Naturally i got my hands on all of the movies so that i wouldnt miss anything. After sitting through all of them i have to say that i am dissapointed. Some of the characters seem missrepresented to me...

Precis is absolutely obnoxious, and i don't remember Ashton being such a hapless idiot in the game. Ashton's interest in Precis is also a little disturbing as he is a grown man and Precis is portrayed as a kid here.

I was happy to see a little more background develop with Opera and Ernest though. The game left them a bit too wide open for me. The rest of the character development was moot, however.

The colors were vibrant, but the animation was sub-par. If i would have been forced to watch the "Ku Ha Zan" one more time i would have broken the disk. There were so many more nice attacks in the game, you think they would have scrambled to represent them in the movie.

I dont regret watching the movies, as they did tie up just a couple loose ends. I do NOT recomend the movies to anyone not familiar with the games as it would just be a waste of time.

The music is rarely annoying, and some of it is actually enjoyable, but there's nothing here that you'll remember after it's over.

Now, I have a question for those with an answer. Is the score an adaptation of Motoi Sakuraba's score from the game, or is it an original score?

What's better than a story with pirates? (Besides ninjas, that is.) Zombie pirates, of course!

Hardly. As already established in March 20's Shelf Life, zombies are at the bottom of the fictional characters list, and as such, would bring down any fictional character their status is added to from their previously superior position. Furthermore, the article states that not only are ninjas superior to pirates, but so are samurai, though ninjas' superiority to samurai would likely make them the better choice over their (relatively) stealth-challenged brethren.
