Point of order: from what I can tell, it's just Japan's Zero-cal brand of Pepsi. I'm sure someone will correct me.
The vines really are a pain in the rear (get it?!) but the earrings and the holsters are worse. The "empty" holsters are little blue nubs with no real definition, so I'm left trying to figure out which side is up, all while hoping I don't drop anything or nothing falls out (especially the *$%ing earrings). There are also two pieces I have absolutely no idea what to do with or their purpose. (I can't tell from the instructions, but at least there are actual instructions. Chibi-Arts 1, Nendo 0) That being said, I enjoy the figure. I've had a few fun snaps and even somehow managed an Evil "Ohohoho" Laugh pose, which pleased me to no end. I got it reasonably priced and I would totally buy from this line again. |

I love T&B but I still have yet to get a single piece of merchandise from this show. Chalk it up to money issues I guess, but I would really love to get some of these figures. They would look very nice in my collection.
I hope Viz at least brings out some of the cool tee shirts over here. |

Heh... I haven't bought any of the merchandise, either. Part of that may be due to the fact that a lot of it goes out of print very quickly. I'm not quite sure which ones to try to buy, either. ^^; I did buy the Blu-rays, though. |

Me too. That's probably why I'm having money issues! |

I don't see the point of ragging on Bandai for "copying" Nendoroid. I mean, it's not like Nendo invented chibi, if anything Bandai's SD Gundams came out well first.

The AmiAmi webpage that I looked at looks to be (mostly?) in English... I didn't go past the front page, so I can't comment on the rest of it. ^^; |

Thanks for the amiami link. I think they split up their urls and I didn't know where the english page went.

I'm pretty sure it was just a joke. Or at least I found it humorous. |

I don't know, it seemed a bit pointed for a joke. Like one of those things where the guy saying it goes "heh heh" afterwards, but has murder eyes.

It's not exactly a matter of who invented the super-deformed aesthetic, it's more like they stole the blueprints in this case.
Besides, I'm obviously a fanboy for Bandai toys! |

Hey Dave, your forum profile link goes to "suabtomicbrainfreeze.com" right now.
I'm curious to see if they'll end up doing Gundam characters - I can imagine Char being an easy choice (which should totally have an OVA style Ghost Lalah as an accessory). |
