Gonna be tough to air the Bebop movie uncut, even on Adult Swim. Wonder how they're gonna handle the Twin Tower similarities for it and Metropolis.

That means they're going to edit my favorite line from the begining of Cowboy Bebop:The Movie.

"And you take too long to take a crap!"
Eh, I prefer it the other way, but this wouldn't be so bad.

Why would the opening scene be edited? I own the film on DVD, and all I could see them editing for is blood and maybe the razorblade sequence with Vincent and Faye. Worse is shown on the Adult Swim series all the time, especially compared to opening five minutes.

Read the quote I posted above and replace the word "crap" with its coarser four-letter counterpart. It's a minor edit that's even done to the Bebop TV series, but I'm pretty sure that's what Realfolkblues was referring to.

I assumed that the line he was referring to was 'I love a woman who can kick my @$$.'
Edit: Sorry, that line doesn't appear till the middle. Oh well, that's another great line that's going to get edited.

Adult Swim doesn't edit the word "ass." It's been uttered on the block before (i.e. Cowboy Bebop, Wild Horses, "Duhan, you saved my ass!"). They only change the big swear words like "f***" and "s***."

Cowboy Bebop - Seen it half mile away.
2 of the Inu Yasha movies - 5 miles
Metropolis - 200
It's great that they are getting Read or Die and now Metropolis. Things are looking good.

And they proudly present those two words with bleeps on their original programming.

And what about the part where Vincet stabs that one kid onto the wall, and blood pours out of him? I am guessing that they would speed it up, like in episode 5 of bebop, when Spike nails the guy in the head, they sped it up.

The main words are "with bleeps". I'm sure most people don't want bleeps through their anime(at least I don't) and prefer substitution over just bleeping it out(especially if they replace it with another word that is also "taboo", just less so).
Also, some people are underating Adult Swim. The only things they'll do is edit out excessive blodd(while still retaining some) and substitute the "big bad four letter words" with "bad words". Their editing may even be at a lower degree, because no one is making changes to their movies/TV series because of Sept. 11.

:sigh:
There really isn't anything in the Cowboy Bebop movie that hasn't been shown or said on any other Adult Swim series.
I'd expect minor edits, at most. Any over-the-top asinine edits I will blame solely on Sony.
