Over the past few years ADV has released a ton of Robotech collections, and I'm wondering which one I should get. I have no interest in Southern Cross or Mospeada, only the Macross saga.

It would probably be best to find a non-Robotech version of Macross.

Get the Macross version released by AnimEigo. Can't go wrong with it.... it is the pure version, unadulterated by any Robotech changes.
