WFAC (the 8th annual Waterloo Festival for Animated Cinema)
is happening in Waterloo, Canada this coming November. The Schedule and the list of the 15 films are as follows: Thursday November 13, 2008 19:00 GALA: Die Abenteuer des Prinzen Achmed, with gala reception to follow at the Walper Terrace Friday November 14, 2008 09:30 Quirino Cristiani: the Mystery of the First Animated Movies 12:30 Grave of the Fireflies, with panel discussion 19:00 Idiots and Angels 21:15 Nocturna 23:30 We Are The Strange Saturday November 15, 2008 09:30 Donkey Xote 12:00 _Egon és Dönci_ 14:00 Genius Party 15:45 Genius Party Beyond (approximate - immediately follows Genius Party, intermission) 19:00 Sita Sings The Blues 21:15 Rebuild of Evangelion 1.0: You Are (Not) Alone 23:30 From Inside Sunday November 16, 2008 13:30 Summer Days With Coo 16:30 The Piano Forest anime in italics Website:WFAC Ticket information can be found here Directions can be found here Only at WFAC All films are presented in the 35mm print or HD Only copy of Die Abenteuer des Prinzen Achmed will be in this hemisphere for this showing only, before returning back to its own country.
