I have seen up to episode 16 of Rahxephon and I was wondering if I watched the motion picture would it spoil some of the series for me? Does the movie contain material that is present in the last 10 episode?

The movie doesn't really make sense unless you've seen the whole thing. I recommend just holding off until you're done.

Finish the series before you watch the movie.
I enjoyed both but I would have to say that I liked the overall feel
of the television show better. The movie helps fill in some details an gives a little more history on the characters.

I agree. See the rest of the series before you see the movie. The movie condenses the story so much that it's practically incomprehensible if you haven't seen all the series first.

Yeah, watch the series then watch the movie. I must say though, the movie is definitely worth watching after it's done. It's a great sorta re-cap and I really enjoyed it. You might understand some of what's on the movie, but it does contain some of the ending stuff, and it would be terrible to see what happens in the condensed version. It leaves out (obviously) a great many details.

In addition though, I think that the movie kind of added some things that the series left out. To me the movie was made to fill in some holes that had not made any sense to me until I saw it. They compliment each other very nicely, and helped to solidify that this series was more than an evangelion rip-off IMO.

Well, the movie added some things, but really it is an alternate version of the events of the tv series. Characters personalities and motivations are changed, and the ending is different. It's a very good movie, but it's made to be watched after the series. I

I really wouldn't go so far as saying the ending is different. The movie just ends in a different place than the tv series does.
Overall, it is best to watch the TV series first, then watch the movie.

Yes watch the series first. Although about half of the movie is kind of recap, you need to see the series to know the difference between it's ending (the series') and the movie's.
