The market is already crowded with publications, not a whole lot of room for another. They can acomplish much more in the current daily format of the site. and probably already reach more people now in a week than a weekly circulation could.

Sorry for not answering earlier, but Emerje's answer is bang on. A weekly newspaper would be completely impossible, but a monthly magazine would be feasible. Maybe one day we'll be able to do that, but right now it's way out of our range. What's more, the publishing industry isn't that strong right now, not a lot of monthly magazines are actually turning a profit. Profit isn't the only goal in the world, but we won't be expanding into any big projects if we expect tolose money on them. |
