The description sounds like something that would appeal to western audiences. I wonder why it hasn't been picked up yet?

Took a while for the manga to be added to the encyclopedia as well. This is a very good story I can tell you right now. There's been some twists I never expected from the story, and it's pretty suspenseful all on it's own.

I've never read the manga but it looks good. I'm not the biggest fan of Volcano High, I prefer Tak Sakaguchi's Be a man! Samurai School; but VH had some great scenes and some good ideas, maybe the director learned some things after the experience. I'll definitily watch this movie.
