And this news just after Carl said the guy's manga was trash. What serendipity!

Yeah, but... Carlos gave it a B, so I think people's opinion on it varies.

Actually Carl gave it a C. I'm not surprised its selling well since it is pretty popular.

Which is weird, which ultimately shows it's just how different people think of it.
I know AoD, the review on there gave it a B+ and yeah as mentioned in Carlos' RTO!,he gave it B as well.

Rave Master was what got me into manga eight years ago.
I've already got plans, hotel, etc all ready to go to San Diego Comic-Con.
This is awesome news.

He writes shonen. It's not supposed to change the world, just entertain the reader for a few moments while one is reading the chapter (specifically, it's supposed to sell the magazine for the publisher)
Rave Master is a fun read. That's really all one can ask from a shonen manga-fun, action, adventure.
It'll be interesting to see if we do get book signing out of this since usually the Japanese authors sign cards. Korean & American-yeah

His Manga's not trash, it's just a bit too influenced by One Piece. Once you get past the near-plagerism influence, it's actually pretty good.
I'm quite suprised Del Ray say FT's doing well though, an unfortunate trait of One Piece is westerners hesitence to pick it up, i wonder what's making Fairy tail sell. (Perhaps to do with Rave Master, which personally i think is the most generic Shonen ever xD)

Personally I liked Rave more than One Piece (not to say that OP is bad). I just felt that there were some intense emotions in Rave that came out really well.

Heh, this news pops up directly following Carl's negative review. Oh, the irony!

Bah! And here I am stuck in Winnipeg when I want to go down to Comic-Con and get Mashima's autograph!
If any of you are gonna be there, can someone ask if Mashima is considering getting Fairy Tail animated?

AWESOME!!!! I can't wait! Fairy Tail wasn't half bad, but I, too, liked Rave Master more. I wonder what he'll sign......

Hmmm...I also wonder what his reaction will be when people say that the RAVE anime series was censored?
