One of WMP's featured clips today is the kickarse trailer for Kitty Grade.
Looks like Funimation is going to be stepping up the advertizing for this one. And thats a good thing... [EDIT - Spelling Fix -C] |

Thats good to hear, I myself personally really enjoyed Kiddy Grade and am looking forward to buying the upcoming domestic release. Hopefully with Funimation putting it out as well it'll be at a reasonable price.

They do that in all the forums...I don't understand!?!?! But, yes, I loved Kiddy Grade. I thought it was great. I do believe it comes out this week in the US. I'd have bought it if I were in the States The only thing that I REALLY don't like about it is that *aggg forgive spelling* Lumiel is a carbon copy of Ruri from Nadesico. |

Whoops!
My bad. It is Kiddy Grade. I guess "Kitty Grade" has the same flow to it as well. |

Yes, a link would be nice. I'm looking forward to the domestic release, at a feasable price I hope.
-I know your mistake has already been pointed out to you, but you got it right in your topic name and then wrote "kitty" in your post... |

Well, the reason I didn' have a link is because it was featured on Windows Media Player's "Now Playing".
I just opened WMP up and selected "Now Playing". A direct link to the trailer is http://www.kiddygrade.tv/ |

Apart from the ability to infrtface with computers, I don't see that Lumiere and Ruri have all that much in common.

eh!? They are both child prodigies. Both have long blue hair, have much more responsibility than they should. They both 'talk' to their computers, are very quite and typically show little emotion (Lumier not so much, but still...), and are exceptionally attached to their co-workers and will do anything in order to achieve thier safety. And the best one is that they are both, ever so sarcastic. Like I said, I really liked both characters. But I thought the likeness between the two a little too much. |

^^
Well, considering that Kiddy Grade and Nadesico were done by the same person, it's not that unlikely that there are similarities. |

Not quite - Keiji Gotoh was the character designer for Nadesico and the director for Kiddy Grade.

Actually Keiji Gotoh did character designs for both. |

The Kiddy Grade character designer is Megumi Kadonosono (although she is apparently Gotoh's wife)
