Hi, if ADV has a panel, can you ask them what's going on with Cromartie? Thanks.

yeah ADV needs to start giving us some answers, particularly what's happening with Gurren Lagann. they have a panel at 7, so hopefully something will come out of it.

I hope they say something about their manga line, especially something about Gunslinger Girl. But their manga line has been decaying for a little while though...

ditto!

I hope someone asks ADV about the state of the anime industry or talks about the state of the anime industry. With Geneon/Pioneer out of the picture and the scare with ADV recently things are looking a bit dark and I still am not comfortable with where things are right now.

For all of you like me who didn't pre-reg and though you could go to the con... Like me you found out this was a lie.

I waited with my friends at this registration line for 5+ hours. I only really wanted to go to the Dealers room. By the time I got to the end the dealers room was closed. So we decided to make the best of it and get an only Sunday pass. They told me I could not, and i would have to come back tomorrow and get in line again for the sunday Only passes.

I yelled a bit, talked to the head of registration. She game me a "note" that says i can cut line since I waited already....

This is horrible. I think I will go to another con, this one sucks.

I hope the Dealers know of all the money they lost out on. I watched 100's, and no that is not an exaggeration, leave the line and say "the hell with it."

Oh and to top it off, NO ONE at the end of the line said any apologies, or did they give discounts or anything. Like they didn't even care.

I waited almost 5 hours in line Saturday morning. All I wanted to do was go to the pillows concert. Luckily, I did get in in time and got a great seat to the concert. It was kind of crazy, and I'm not sure I would have done it for anything other than the pillows, but the concert really made up for it.

It was my first con, but I won't let that discourage me from considering attending future cons.

my friend waited in line for 9 hours for at con reg. Anime Boston has lost it's "we're in control" feel. Im gunna give AB anoher chance next year but seriously I was very dissapointed with the way things were run this year. I didn't have as much fun as previous years.

I was at the panel sitting near the front and they said, their manga line is extremely weakened but not dead...they plan to continue publishing Cromartie (specifically mentioned). They pointed to the fact that Yotsuba vol 6 was just released recently (end of February).

No mention of the future of Gunslinger Girl? Just curious as that's the one title of theirs I would be truly upset over if they couldn't release more of it.

einhorn: Thank you. I knew they wouldn't cancel Cromartie if they got this far, but I was still uncertain. It's a shame it's not as obvious for Lupin WMW... Crying or Very sad

If anyone was at the FUNi panel, did you ask them anything about Ouran?

I'm so relived about cromartie, although I just started collecting it recently, I love the series and totally want to continue it. On another note, I haven't been able to find Yotsuba vol. 6 anywhere, not even at online stores. I still wish they never canceled Those who Hunt Elves, that was a really good series, I miss it Anime cry.

And here I thought a 4 hour wait in line was too much. 10 hours? I don't think I'd give that con my money next year....

It looks like there's something really dire going on at BVUSA if they cancel at the last minute.

Don't you think that's the case too???
