Is that a real draw, the director of the Pokemon TV series?
I guess if I were already at the con, getting autographs from other people, I might walk into the line to get that one, but I hardly find that an attractive prospect. No doubt that Pokemon has certainly had a huge impact on anime fandom in the U.S., but I think by now most con-goers are past the stage of being fans of the TV show, except for out of nostalgia. |

I could go. I would have to drive 360 miles for something that I don't really care for. Although that's cool that the director is in L.A., if he were at Anizona or Anime Boston (I might be moving to Boston next year), I would get his autograph. That wouldn't be the reason I went to a con, though.

I would like to know if this guy directed "Burn Up Warrior" and "Burn Up Excess" because these animes and pokemon firsts season have many simmilar things, especialy with the comedy style and the sounds effects. I have seen too many animes in my life and I haven't seen an anime with comedy style too many similar with pokemon as Burn Up 90's series. With only obvious exception that Burn Up has heavy fanservice but pokemon "not-4kids" firsts season has a little fanservice too.
