Cookie, with some help from Kumi Kaoru, translated this a whole day before I posted the article, but being blind I completely missed it.
Megumi Hayashibara's Pregnancy Announced in the middle of a Radio Program Known for her work on the anime "Neon Genesis Evangelion" as a voice actress and singer, Megumi Hayashibara (36 years old) on 1/10 announced on AM Kobe's regular "Heartful Station" that she is pregnant. Hayashibara announced: "It's here! The White Stork is. That means I'm pregnant" to the little embarassment of the reporter. Soon, her homepage will also carry this announcement. On her birthday on 3/30/1998, Hayashibara was married to a company employee. The following day She appeared in the wedding dress in front of her fans who attended the open recording of her radio program. They were surprised to know the fact for the first time there. Hayashibara began voice work in 1986 with Maison Ikkoku. Her most popular characters are Ayanami Rei from Neon Genesis Evangelion and such. |
