Don't beleive every single thing you read on the internet, and especially not the stuff someone tells you on a forum, because alot of times with no word from the people making the show what they say is just a guess.

No, but the manga covers the events after the anime series ended.

As with any series, yes a few OVA's are possible or even another series. However when/if that ever happens is anyone's guess. Have no fear, if more Berserk ever gets made, ANN will be the first to let us all know .

And Answerman will breath a sigh of relief heard all over the world!
No. No more Berserk anime. It's over. Done. Read the manga. Chances are what you heard was someone having problems contemplating these facts. That, or just mindless speculation and pointless rumoring. News like that would ALWAYS be comfirmed by ANN, so happy reading!

Actually. They went inot pre production on a 2nd season of Berserk. However nothing has been heard of it since and due to the graphic nature of the show. The people behind it said it may in fact never get made into an anime OVA or otherwise. But and attempt was made. No results of that attempt have been heard of.

Pay attention. Professional news people say there will be none. If there was any hope they would tell you. Those other folks are lying and/or misinformed.

Actually, Fenrir's correct. It DID enter pre-production.
On the other hand, there are probably 200+ TV series that enter pre-production, but only ~80 that actually materialize each year. The other 120+ are abandoned, usually with little or no work being done on them. They might be revisited later, but usually if the project was cancelled it was because there was not enough commercial incentive to continue it.. and that is a very powerful force in the anime industry.

"And Answerman will breath a sigh of relief heard all over the world!"
Wrong. Once they announce the show I'll get even more emails asking when it's coming out, how many episodes it is, what it'll be about, who's licensing it, when it'll be available on DVD, and whether or not it'll show on Cartoon Network. Usually I'll get asked all of these questions a million times before even one of those details is hinted at.
