Greetings!

As of lately I've discovered Naoki Urasawa's titles and I am very fond of them and I've also discovered Berserk.

We,, my apologies, I'm sure someone asked this question already, but would you kindly suggest a manga in those lines?

Oldboy is a good, 8-volume series that has a very similar feel to Monster. Real-world setting and a psychological thriller.

Hellsing has the brutality and supernaturalism of Berserk, but it has a very slow release schedule. Nausicaa of the Valley of Wind (7 oversized volumes) has a far lighter tone than Berserk, and it's less adult, but it has a similar epic nature and highly detailed art (it's also my favorite manga, period).
Battle Angel Alita also feels a bit Berserk-ish. Very violent and graphic, very depressing dystopian world.
Blame! is also supposed to fit in the Berserk 'type', but I haven't read beyond the first half of the first volume yet.

Gantz is an interesting series that mixes a lot of folklorish monsters with sci-fi stuff in a contemporary enviornment, but is -very- sexual. If you think the stuff in Berserk is a lil over the top at times, you're in for it with this one. However, if you can get past that its an entertaining read for a berserk/hellsing violence fan.

I'm a big Elfen Lied fan myself; its much like Gantz in the fact that its a bit more sexual than Berserk is. However, it is not lisceneced. As far as graphical violence goes, I personally feel Elfen Lied's violence is just as lasting as Berserk's is in terms of brutality.

I'd agree on the Hellsing comment - its a very entertaining series regardless of its long releases.

Claymore reminds me a lot of Berserk, and doesn't contain much sexual content at all. It does however feature an almost exclusive female cast and might not be as "berserky" as you are looking for.

I'm sure there's more, but I can't think of them at the moment. Ubbel Blatt is a newer one that is very, very similar to Berserk, but I haven't looked at it.

I was referring to Elfen Lied, but I can see why that was misread. I worded it weird; been fixed.

Claymore is basically Berserk light. Its still pretty good though.

Seeing as how those two are completely different, might I recommend Death Note. It's smart and has you wondering what's going to happen next... Kinda like Monster I guess.

If violence and sex you are looking for, then Battle Royale will probably keep you interested. Although there is much controversy about the American, Tokyopop, release and the translation job. I still enjoyed the series very much though.

Claymore, Gunslinger Girl, and Fullmetal Alchemist (manga diverges from the anime) are another 3 I personally recommend. The latter 2 are nothing like Monster and Bereserk though.

I would have to agree with claymore and death note. For the same reasons the others posted.

I read of death note and it is great like monster.
Im currently on claymore and it has killing like berserk but not nearly as much lol. I dont know if theres a manga with more killing than berserk.

I tend to think of Claymore as a toned down version of Berserk, but it is still enjoyable and readable. Plus the story is just as intriguing as Berserk, so I say that this one would be a good recommendation especially if you enjoy it's action and genre. Just not as bloody.

Del Rey has just started rereleasing Parasyte. Tokyopop had released it in 12 volumes before, and now del Rey has the rights and is releasing it in 8 volumes (I think), and 2 are out now.

Try Blade of the Immortal, by Hiroaki Samura; it's currently being released by Dark Horse Comics. It has that same sense of violence as Berserk, with very realistic (and beautiful!) artwork.
