hi !!!

this thread about Mazinkaiser

CREATOR: GO NAGAI

HISTORY:
In 2001 the first new Mazinger series in almost 30 years began with Mazinkaiser. While it is a entirely new story the characters and robots, unlike Shin Getter Robo, are instantly recognizable to any Mazinger fan. In essence it is a new series but with the old characters.

The Mazinkaiser robot itself, also like Shin Getter, debuted in the Super Robot War series. The weapon information on this page is a combination of both series and games.
Mazinkaiser was created by Dr. Kabuto and piloted by Koji Kabuto.

WEAPONS:
LASER BEAMS: Mazinkaiser's version of the Laser beams.
Visuallt not too different but more powerful.
TURBO SMASHER PUNCH: Mazinkaiser takes this classic weapon to a new level. The turbines in the punch begin to turn before he launches it and the punch begins glowing with energy. Not only does the enemy robot take damage from the punch but from the energy as well.

SHOULDER SLICER(Also Known as the MAZINGER SWORD): Mazinkaiser's sword.

GIANT MISSILE: Standard Mazinger missile.

DYNAMITE TACKLE: The most powerful new weapon Mazinkaiser has. He charges his whole body with energy and charges at the enemy.

BREATH OF TORNADO: More powerful version of the Breath of Hurricane.

FIRE BLASTER: The new Breast of Fire. This one seems to be twice as powerful as Mazinger's and 1/4 as powerful as Great Mazinger's.

WING SCRANDER: Like Great Mazinger, Scrander comes from Mazinkaiser's back. This version has three boosters for new speed.

WING BOOMERANG: Wing Scrander and seperate from Mazinkaiser and attack on it's own using it's increadible sharp blades.

(( I will be very glad if any one read this )) Very Happy

If you're so dead set on starting a discussion on Mazinkaiser you need to do more than list the specs on the robot or ask which one is better, M-Kaiser or S-Getter like in your other post. You also need to give your own opinion on what you wish to discuss and give some reasons why, that way others have something to add to or respond to.

The resulting discussion would hopefully have at least a little bit of intellectual content and hopefully help to raise the good status opf this fine board. It should not try and degenerate the board into another Cartoon Network board where all we'll get are posts on which one is better or one liners that "Character X is SO ROXOR!!!1111!!1!!1!"

By the way, how is it that when you are listing the specs of M-Kaiser you are able to write in almost perfect English (unless you're copying from something in which case you should probably state where you got the info), but when you type other things, it's barely understandable.

Now as far as Mazinger goes, I personally never liked it. I'm not sure exactly what it was, it's quite possible it was the animation. I normally have no problem with older animation, I absolutely love Lupin and Mobile Suit Gundam, but something about Mazinger just turned me off it.
