Howdy!
Has anybody picked up the accompanying novel to the Onegai Teacher manga? Lots of related novels exist in Japan but this is the first time I've heard of one being printed in America. Personally, I'd love to see some more manga and anime related novels be translated. I guess that's why I curious about how well it's doing here. Comics One is going out on a limb and I hope it does well. I wonder how many people didn't even know about this....hmm |

I went and checked out the Comics One website, then went over to Amazon to see what they said about it. Onegai Teacher: Mizuho & Kei's Diary
According to a review by Publishers Weekly as well as a couple customers, it seems the translation is sloppy. Of course, that just makes me curious to how bad it is.
