Unfortnuatly there are people who, like me, look forward to watching certian shows during the week. This just left me in a foul mood. Last year was a bit annoying and this is just plain not funny. I mean, personaly, April Fools stoped being funny when I was 9. You outgrow that kind of stuff. You would also think that they would realise that they are a company dealing with viewers, not buddies dealing with buddies.

When will the people at AS realize they aren't funny? They aren't funny, their shows aren't funny, and April Fool's pranks aren't funny. All this does is spoil my entire night - but I shouldn't have expected anything less from the same imbeciles who nixed any notion of a third season of Big O just because they'd rather spend money on their crappy "comedy" programming.

Or rather, the comedy that isn't theirs. Family Guy. They live and die by Family Guy. If AS ever lost Family Guy, the ship would sink faster than the Titantic. |

Yeah,it's basically another april fools prank like last year
remember last year they did those April Fools prank episodes of Full Metal alchemist and Ghost in the shell with all those Random Fart jokes, than they showed episodes of Mr T and Chuck Norris and the Karate Kommandos. |

The question to ask is "Who thought the idea of *TWO HOURS* of this would be entertaining, even as an april fool's joke?"
Cut Champloo this week, have your little joke, and then show the rest of the new stuff a half-hour later. Just in case I'm going to tape the rebroadcast at 4AM, hopefully they'll cut us a break. |

So I decided to stay awake to watch the English dubbing of Bleach and Eureka 7, and well to my surprise there is a still for fan service and a 30 minute series entitled Perfect Hair Forever, and that's been going on for almost three and half hours, and I am assuming that this will run on for the rest of the night. Did Adult Swim just suddenly want to put up a series that A looks like crap, B sounds like crap, C the quality is so crap I can barely read the subbing? Why did Adult Swim decide to put CRAP on the air? I guess you can say I'm quite angry at this, practical joke. I just wonder what their ploy was behind all of this? I mean after trying to absorb even an hour of this show, I lost 40 IQ points. So that means another hour our so, and I'll become mentally unstable.
See this is where Cartoon Network needs a new marketing campaign. Sure I'm pretty sure they're laughing they're butts off at the fact that people are missing Bleach for this crap. I mean they fooled me, I double checked "The Click" and my tvguide, and it all said Bleach would be on. Sure it's a great ploy for like an hour, but not an all night affair, it's like continuously toilet papering someones car, it's fun the first few times, but after awhile its get annoying after awhile. I mean Saturday is anime night for Adult Swim, why not play that gag for an hour and half and then show, something like FLCL for the rest of the night? It was a bad ploy and I guess I'm just content I already know what happens in both of the series that I'm not loosing a casket over this. |
