I need to learn not to buy modern fighting games at launch. I keep doing it and there's almost always a later release with all the DLC included.

This is good for Switch owners since they didn't have access to the game on their console previously, it's also neat that we're getting amiibo. I wonder if it'll just be the ones shown here or if we'll get more of the roster.

This is the first time a current Street Fighter game will be available on a Nintendo console since when Street Fighter IV was released on the 3DS.
I find it kind of odd that this game was the one that confirmed that amiibo will still be a thing on the Switch 2, I don't remember them being mention before in the presentation, is really odd that a third-party game will get amiibo on Nintendo's new console before a first-party one. I also wonder if Ryu, Ken and Terry's ammibo from Smash Bros. will be compatible with this version of SF6.

YES!!
Finally!
Thank you, Capcom, even if I’m slightly disappointed this won’t be available physically.

Muscle mommy Marisa, here I come!

I definitely need to get the Amiibo of her when that’s available.

Because V was co-funded by Sony, this is also why it didn't get an Xbox One release.

Yes, I was aware that Street Fighter V was a Sony exclusive game, though even if it wasn't, I don't know if it could have run well on the original Switch, though it the system got other fighting games like Dragon Ball FighterZ, Mortal Kombat 11 and 1 and Guilty Gear: Strive, maybe it could. Though I also never understood why Capcom didn't port Ultra Street Fighter IV to the Switch, I think I've heard that it had similar issues to SFV.

That good to know, I wonder if SNK will release a Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves Switch 2 version later, maybe it could have some amiibo functionality with Terry's figure.[/quote]
