Obviously its skewing for the very young kids but I enjoy the Superlink esque gimmick of limb swapping. And seeing Longrack from Beast Wars Neo again (or a similar character to him) is nice.

Transformers is a distant second in Takara Tomy's sales ledger to Shinkalion, not helped by numerous shows and the most recent movie flopping. Getting a bunch of kid-focused shorts and toys out there is probably their best way of getting a new audience, without having to parody dub another flop like Earthspark.

It's kind of telling that Hasbro is doing a similar set of shorts with their Cyberworld line, but that Takara wanted to make their own. Both companies are probably at least a year away from trying to put together a major show again (and even then, the only thing the fandom seems to want are the Energon Universe comics animated).

This looks fun! And oddly nice parallel to Cyberwordl.

Also you know it's Japanese TF with the Powerlinxing.

Not really sure if that's what I want personally even as someone who enjoys the comics...feel like the issues of said comics would be enhanced in animation format unless they go the Invincible route.
