Thank you for the reviews on the series! I've read every one, even if I don't always comment.

Along with all the other stuff it did excellently, I will always be thankful to Wonderful for giving us an actually engaging big bad after 21 years

The Fuku episode aired just a couple of weeks after we lost one of our kitties. Needless to say I was bawling all the way through the episode, and I'm glad Rebecca took note of how well executed it was

The Fuku/Torame two-parter was absolutely a standout of the season, and it's a very strong season at that. I'm glad You and Idol is going back to physical fights over the chase-and-hug tactics, but they worked very well thematically for Wonderful... though it is going to be interesting seeing how that works in All Stars movies down the line. (It looks like they managed it for the Wonderful movie by bringing in the Hirogaru Sky and Maho Tsukai teams to do the fighting when it was necessary.) Still, I think anyone who overlooked this season because of the lack of fighting is missing out.
Excellent review! I've been looking forward to one pretty much since Episode 50 aired, and it did not disappoint!

Another very excellent review, one I was waiting for actually. It really does show all Precure content on ANN should be shown to Rebecca first, so we don't get articles like that one from a few days ago downplaying the shows messaging just because there's a thing you can buy in 80% of every episode.
The Fuku episode might be one of the most important episodes in all of Precure, maybe just below the c sections episode of Hug. But I do consider at this point that Wonderful is Precures best written season, it's certainly Naritas magnum opus. The review is great, with just the odd points of the scoring. I think the music suited every scene it was for, so I'm perplexed by the B + but it's not that important. What is important is I wish, like I understand why you wouldn't, but I wish there was more focus on the review on the shows themes of communication and empathy. Just a bit more. They were so important, and the show handled it so well, so well the director said they didn't even want the animals to talk at the end (and you thought the ending we got was bittersweet), but Washio (who apparently just sticks his heads in meetings and says things like "KOMUGI AND IROHA SHOULD CHARGE TOGETHER IN THE SAME DIRECTION, WHILE MAYU AND YUKI SHOULD STAND BACK TO BACK PROTECTING EACH OTHER, THAT SHOULD BE THEIR RELATIONSHIP" then leaves) said to do it because it would cap off how good the year was for kids (the way I saw it phrased came off like if Wonderful didn't sell so well, he might not have bothered? It's funny to think about). Iroha saying "I don't even know what to say" at the very end, in the show about communication, was like, genius. It was perfection. That coupled with "Iroha meet Komugi in the rain, and the show ends with Iorha and Komugi saying goodbye to us in the rain" is just the kind of stuff you don't get anymore. I loved it. Thanks for the review.

Nico is the WORST. I'm not even adding the "-sama" anymore. This ungrateful little b*** literally went "OK, thanks, bye!" after all the girls did for her? And it wasn't even her that gave them back the ability to talk, it was the mirror stone.
