i get a red message saying it's incorrect but is IS correct as I have sources he used the name Phil Matthews, in the film.

If they're the same person (and we can prove it), then Phil Matthews should be added as an alias for Tom Wyner; Tom Wyner doesn't need to be added separately if he's already credited with the pseudonym he used.
