This definitely does not make me happy. Hopefully it's nothing significant like an expansion to the secret scene at the end.

Yeah, I'm not happy about this either. The timing of this is a terrible way to treat the non-Japanese Ys fans. It'll be nice if the new stuff is offered as an upgrade patch/DLC, but I don't see that happening right now.

Played the demo for this on Switch. Was pretty decent.
Not too familiar with the Ys games, though. My only gripe was how irritating the later boss was. Takes forever just to kill a friggin armored giant Greiger monster or whatever it was. The worst part was its ability to heal its armor back, fully, after you weaken it at a certain point. Not to mention the sometimes, unavoidable attacks that come at you even when you try to evade. So dumb. |

I hope this isn't a sign of Falcom going the way of Atlus' double dip release strategy.
It just makes me not want to buy any game new which I rarely do already because of this stuff. |
