At this point, the problem isn't really money, but finding a new team/staffs that's s good as the original staffs since many of the key staffs are dead.

After all these years, they should just reboot the whole thing, and start anew with anime remake.

I'd rather just see a continuation than a reboot. The existing Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya anime series is a near-perfect adaptation of the source material with only a few minor discrepancies (arguably even "Endless Eight" didn't actually stray much from the original story spoiler[other than showing seven more loops than were portrayed in the original story as well as the number of loops Yuki Nagato says have happened in the final loop, which probably wasn't even the final loop since the final scene in the cafe implies a few dozen more loops]) and I can't even imagine the need a Disappearance of Haruhi Suzumiya remake because that movie was perfection.

I can fully accept that any continuation of the Haruhi Suzumiya anime will probably visually look somewhat different than the existing anime due to several key staff members having been murdered in the arson attack but it's not like the current Kyoto Animation animators (assuming it would still be done at KyoAni) don't still have Shoko Ikeda's character model sheets (or at least scans of them if the originals were destroyed) to keep any new continuation of the anime somewhat consistent with the first two seasons and the movie, the same modern Scooby-Doo productions can still look at least somewhat consistent with the 1969 episodes despite how most of the original animators are either dead or retired and also some wardrobe updates to keep with the times. (I'm not counting postmodern alternate universe bastardizations of Scooby-Doo like Velma, obviously.)
