Hopefully Random House will do a better job with this imprint brand then their Del Rey Manga brand which became defunct in 2010 following the establishment of Kodansha USA in 2010.
For those of you that weren't anime/manga fan in 2000's/early 2010's, before Kodansha USA, Random House had a manga publishing division, Del Rey Manga which was established in 2004 which was responsible for licensing and publishing titles from Kodansha. So this isn't the first time that Random House was involved with manga, they had prior experience given their Del Ray Manga imprint. So hopefully, I hope to see what manga and other East Asian graphic novels they're going to pick up (and I'm not expecting any Kodansha's titles to be pick up by Random House). |

Holy Cow! We're getting My Life as an Internet Novel published physically in English?! I am so excited for this! My only worry is if this imprint somehow flops and the rights get messed up. I really love this story but it is already over 200 chapters. That will be a lot of volumes to print and sell.

Well, Random House does not have the best track record with manga publishing. Del Rey, publisher of Del Rey Manga is an imprint of Random House. In 2010 they announced that they were selling out to Kodansha and left the manga business. A number of titles were left incomplete, and still are.
