More people need to watch this, it’s low-key one of the best adaptations of the year.

Yea Cloverworks really did a good job with the beautiful animation I’m so glad we’re getting a season 2.

Early rumors before the series even started airing was said that the show is planned to be split cour, so this news is not surprising although with how high quality the visuals are (and with CW's busy schedule) I'm going to guess it may take at least around a year...

While I can understand the strategy of splitting cours, it seems odd for a split-cour season to NOT immediately announce the second cour after the first one airs.

This isn't a split-cour season though. It's simply Season 2, not Season 1 (Part 2).

Regardless though, I was a bit worried about this not getting renewed right away since Clover Works is preoccupied with other series.

I was worried we weren't going to get another season, so this is very welcome news.

Rumor was that it was a split-cour season masquerading as two separate seasons, much in the same way, say, Hundred Girlfriends apparently was. Think of it like the last season of Breaking Bad, which was officially a single season of 16 episodes but produced like two mini-seasons of 8.
