I'm not sure how many people have the setup to accommodate it, but there is quite a few of the area maps from Strive uploaded so that you can walk around and experience them in VR. They're in fact pretty shockingly full-featured as whole continuous environments, the likes of which I'd expect an action game character to be seen climbing rooftops around rather than a fighting game using the sandbox zone as a backdrop.
Weirdly enough, ArcSys even has it so that for something like $20, you can buy VR clothes for your own original character to cosplay as one of the Strive fighters. Siliconera has been keeping tabs on these VR cosplay sales for a couple years now, and if anything shows off Guilty Gear's art best, it's being able to see and feel (with haptics) it in-person. Very much worth experiencing if you have the equipment. |
