Huh wow so the line-up here really is a fusion of the 2016 film and the James Gunn film.
Wonder if Starro or Polka-Dot Man will make an appearance.

I mean it's based on a superhero property and it's gonna be on Max, I can say with 99% certainty it will eventually have a dub. Maybe not a simuldub but we'll see...

To be fair though it was a mistake sinker is a type of baseball pitch and Japan does love their baseball.

I believe they have confirmed it will have a simuldub. They have not confirmed a cast.

But The Thinker is an existing DC comics character that was featured in Suicide Squad comics. Not to mention that he looks almost exactly like the live-action version played by Peter Capaldi's in James Gunn's The Suicide Squad movie.

So they put both films through a blender and not the comic source material? Unsurprising but another reason to keep expectations muted. I don´t necessarily mind the Issekai setting, even the comics did this before, and the art direction is solid but I can´t see me watching a Re:ZERO cosplay show in full despite having read every SS issue ever published since the 80s. The worst thing an anime can be is boring and obvious and Tappei Nagatsuki is the master of that.

The OP is pretty jazzy and colorful. I wonder if the Bat implies Batman will actually show up.
It would be kind of nice if we could get characters that weren't in either live-action Suicide Squad movie...but Shizuka Itou as Enchantress is too good to pass up.
