I always love seeing reports about his convention visits. He seems like such a genuinely fun person who really enjoys his fans. When I brought Odin and Garaga to an autograph session, he exclaimed excitedly and made a point to have the translator tell me that he loved that I brought them in. That's always been one of my fave autograph sessions.

Getting cast as Piccolo, Furukawa said, was the biggest surprise of his career "because the production wanted me to use my lower level voice, and I have a high-pitched voice compared to other male voice actors, and I wondered why they picked me.” He repeatedly tried to lower his voice, eventually reaching a point where he had to give up and say, “This is the best I could do.” The production team responded, “Just go with that.”

Interesting that Reuben or Furukawa didn't mention that he FIRST voiced Blue Shogun in Dragon Ball before Piccolo (Junior), which is why its a surprise he ended up returning as Piccolo (Junior), but Reuben most likely didn't watch DB in Japanese. Back to the quote. Interesting that Furukawa states he has a high pitched voice (hence having so much trouble voicing Piccolo that he had to give up) compared to other male actors because he stated in "Dragon Ball 天下一伝説" back in 2004 that he had "trouble voicing Blue because of his homosexuality." That's funny.

Absolutely! It's fascinating to hear behind-the-scenes insights from seiyuu like Toshio Furukawa. His perspective on portraying Piccolo adds so much depth to the character. It’s always great to appreciate the talent that goes into bringing our favorite characters to life! I used academized.com/do-my-homework to get assistance with a particularly challenging assignment. The service delivered high-quality work that was both timely and well-executed. The writer’s ability to follow my guidelines and deliver a comprehensive piece was impressive. This service made a significant difference in managing my academic responsibilities.
