Finally saw this in theaters a couple weeks ago. Overall, nice film. I think what stood out most was how unorthodox the plot structure was (very different from Shinkai's last couple flicks). Made me wonder how much more I'd like the story as a 12-episode more travelogue-focused series instead of a movie. (Of course, we wouldn't have gotten this level of polished animation, but still.)

Absolutely well-deserved. I've already seen it in theatres, but perhaps I'll give it a rewatch when the time is right and I encourage everyone to give it a try as well. And it's the closest we're getting a Shinkai movie that barely contains romance due to some hijinks
 Hopefully he'll be able to create similar movies, or maybe even a TV series in the future.

Already watched it on the first pass a few months ago, got the jp bluray. My only gripe is that it only has english subtitles since I usually watched stuff dubbed only.
