Really enjoyed the anime always wished we could have gotten a season 2.

24 books is a pretty good run.

Seriously, as far as I remember, the only problem I had with this series were the uniform designs. The rest were surprisingly good.

It had a good run.

IT looks like s1 truly was just another commercial adaptation. so no s2 than. Oh well.

Huh, I remember that exact wording as well. Must have been in the preview guide comments or somewhere.

I also loved the series as well, it was a bit predictable. Okay maybe more than 'a bit' but still enjoyable. It had a few, for lack of a better term 'bad gags' but mostly innocent humor. I remember watching the MC show up to teach his classes and on his first day he taught the bare mimimum then wrote "self study" on the chalkboard and over the subsequent days his handwriting got even lazier until all he had the energy to write was just "se". Ah fun times.

A shame the light novel wasn't popular enough to get a translation. Or I guess DVD/manga sales weren't high enough to convince them there was interest in it. I wonder how hard it'd be to get a physical copy of all the english volumes.

I'm curious to see how the story ends...and hope the novels get officially licensed so I can read said ending!
