Three for three! Spreadsheet updated, and yes, FUNA really did start this and 80,000 Gold on consecutive days. Maintained a remarkably consistent weekly update schedule for both, too -- plus two updates a week for Make My Abilities Average IIRC, once that started two months later

Ep 02, 15min 59sec: I have been watching many kinds of anime for decades, and this is the first time I have seen a character explain the Laffer curve, often favored by conservatives as a basis for the Reagan era "trickle-down economics" theory and tax cuts to spur the economy.
Also, I do like how she included the opportunity to specify the container for the potions she creates; I'm waiting to see if she creates things like: - an aerosol potion in a spray can - a pressurized fire extinguisher - dry cell, alkali, or wet cell batteries - toothpaste and ointments in a squeeze tube - two-part epoxy (one tube of resin, one hardener) If she is able to "hack" the constraints so that solid structures inside the "container" count as part of the container, then she could probably make filament light bulbs and maybe even vacuum tubes; plates, grids, pins, and the 'potion' being mostly a vacuum, mercury vapor, and some liquid mercury next to a heater coil. That would get you Morse radio and possibly even electron tubes for X-rays. She might not have to know the structures if she specifies the function, like she did with the "heal whatever the bearer wishes for" potion. |
