"Viz Manga is only available in the United States and Canada"
I swear, every time I get my hopes up for a new service, this happens

Nothing to see here, keep pirating as usual.

So far, no real competence for Manga Plus or even Manga UP!

Currently only two Asano titles are on the app: Solanin and What a wonderful world.
I think Kazuo Umezz is pretty noteworthy and "classic."
Cat Eyed Boy, the Drifting Classroom: the Perfect Edition, and Orochi: the Perfect Edition are available on the app.

Or you could support official releases and they might bring the service to your region.

Just as with the Shonen Jump app, there are some titles that are only available via Viz.com because of content (blame the Apple Store), and that includes Goodnight Punpun, as well as stuff like Dorohedoro, Black Lagoon, Dead Dead Demon's Dededede Destruction, Golgo 13, Jormungand, & all of Nana after Chapter 24, among some others.

If they want to beef up their catalog they could get the old shoujo titles that aren't on there (I was pleasantly surprised to see Basara), or maybe add the Viz Select titles that are decade+ old Tokyopop titles? How many eBook sales can they possibly be getting for Chibi Vampire and Lagoon Engine?

And it's region locked and unaccessible in my country like with KManga. Not fair, it's always the US/Northern America but not the rest of the World, thus piracy may not decrease.

From what I heard that Viz still using English names instead OG Japanese names in OG Japanese version and fan translation. How sucks. Even English sub in the anime uses Japanese names instead English like the Viz version.
But I wondering are fan translations and scanlations may go extinct in the nearly future because both KManga and Viz Manga will simulpub their mangas on their apps/websites, thus fan translators and scanlation groups are no longer willing to translate mangas, otherwise they may end up DMCA'd from publishers like Shueisha, Viz. I feel like it's the end of an era for fan translations and scanlations.

I still dont know why most int'l publishers never established themselves and matured from infancy, seems sad that they force folks to rely on America and also knowing English to service their manga needs.
Seems there's tons of opportunity for the EU region, and a Southeast Asia region to have some regional coalition to go in on development their own region specific apps. Dont know why companies are leaving money on the table like this and missing out on such an opportunity. (especially since large populations of people would prefer reading content in their native spoken language)

They said on the website that US/Canada is just the start and they plan on expanding to other regions soon.

All of which (the ones I checked, at least), are readily available for sale in Apple Books.
Somehow, being in an app makes these titles uniquely unacceptable. The Steve Jobs Memorial No Sex In Apps rule strikes again.

Forgot they did that.
What an annoying limitation.
Those are good titles too that won't be seen by most.
