This is a Kodansha title, which has nine english translated volumes under it's belt.
This is a story about a teenage girl, looking for a way to connect and stay with the boy she loves, who finds this strange idol figurine at the beach. Said idol has some supernatural powers that influence her mom strongly, and the people of the town to some degree. The story takes place in our modern world. Whether the idol is divine or evil, or both, is up to debate, but none the less, its effects on her mom are significant. At nine english translated novels, there is alot more going on and more characters introduced. |
