Out of all the korean webtoon animes that Crunchyroll released, Tower of God was the best one and the one most deserving of a season 2.
I consider this a win

Nice it would have been such a pity to only have the prologue in anime !
So much animes announcements from different producers which came out simultaneously outside important festival context in the last few days, that's awesome.

Agreed. It didn't have the jaw-dropping visuals and animation quality of The God of High School, but it had a more interesting story and characters, which made me interested in seeing what happens next. I just wasn't expecting them to announce a second season over two years after the first one.
Hopefully the same staff that did the first season will work on the second one after they finish the Rick and Morty anime.

About time. I loved the first season. I knew it couldn't just end up with one season.

If S2 has the same production values as S1 then they can gladly keep it.

Jeez has it only been two years? It feels like ages already. While it wasn't my favorite this show was the one Crunchyroll original that I unironically enjoyed. Honestly didn't have much hope for a continuation, I'll be interested to see where things go from here.

Tower of God was the only one of the Crunchyroll webtoon anime I liked so I'm glad to see it get a s2 and surprised to see Crunchyroll continue with any of those Crunchyroll Originals.

Let's hope S2 will be a lot better than its Boring S1 start where it felt really disjointed.
