Rescuing Sol Press titles is very interesting, but given a majority of the ones they picked up were completely translated by Sol I don’t really see the point… No Chivalry, no 80k Gold, no GochiUsa. No clarification on if these are retranslations or simple republications with an editing pass.
Also basically nothing in print announcements other than FMP. Really disappointed. |

Shame they didn't rescue Rakudai, that would've been an instant buy.

More FMP! I'm very excited!
Hopefully they'll also (eventually) get to the Slayers spin-offs as well. |

If j-novel club's thread of English licenses is correct, Kodansha got 80k Gold. |

80k Gold was just announced as licensed by Kodansha, so I guess there is some possibility of a different company licensing those others. |

These sound fun but I'm still waiting for someone to rescue Chivalry...also, more Full Metal Panic is always nice.
(I'm more of a physical reader too so this doesn't quite do as much for me...) |

Death's Daughter and the Ebony Blade
I never thought I'd see this licensed. Very happy |

Interesting releases but 90% of those titles are just more isekai.

Kinda want to read Death Daughter but I think I'm probably gonna wait for the manga.
I'm gonna wait for the eventually manga adaptation of Yuri Tama, that or that they get more volumes. |

Disappointing that there's still no licensing of Grimoire of Zero LN or The Familiar of Zero LN series...

You do know they have no relation despite the title, right? But I agree, if someone offered official translations of either(both have fan translations, the former has two volumes left and the other's complete), I'd buy them in a heartbeat. 'Familiar' is a classic but the anime was long ago so chances might not be that great for the novel. 'Grimoire', well, the sequel novel to it, The Dawn of the Witch, is licensed in English with first volume dropping in October, so chances are higher. But if possible, I'd rather read the original in full first. Talking about possible license rescues, Shagukan no Shana, any takers? I remember the anime fondly and would definitely be happy to read the source novels... |
