For some reason I thought this show would have consecutive cours. Did I mix it up with A Couple of Cuckoos in my head or something? Anyway, I'm glad I'll have this free slot for the next three months, because it looks like I'll be watching even more Saturday shows starting July.

Ehhh, that’s not really the way to watch the show. There is a “plot”, but it is very much in the background, and mainly an excuse for spy/family shenanigans. The manga/anime is very much like Detective Conan in that regard.

I like Conan a lot. Wait for second season to finish airing and then I watch the whole 24 episodes.

With the popularity and critical acclaim, this was a foregone conclusion and I'm here for it! The decision might even have been made a week or two earlier for them to have this animated PV with new character.

The decision was announced over 6 months ago, and probably decided on from the beginning

They picked a REALLY odd place to split the cour.
Kudos for adapting what is listed as an "extra" mission and not part of the main story but I would have digged the last scene being Bond seeing the Forgers.

It has several arcs, but even up to the manga's recent chapters, the escalation is kinda slow. They're still pretty enjoyable tho.

Sa i feel like the show does have a plot . Namely , the Intelligence Mission . You know , the reason that the Forgers got together in the first place before? .
