Words cannot describe how HAPPY I am that Ángel is back in King of Fighters. She's such an important tribute to the thriving LatAm/Mexican fandom that SNK's games have (she was even named after the Mexican dev that worked with SNK once upon a time--hence why her name is the masculine "Angel" instead of the feminine "Angela" or "Angelica"). It's a bummer they didn't bring back Mayumi Shintani to voice her, she's the BEST Ángel voice IMO (right up there with not having Satoshi Hashimoto as Terry Bogard--bring my boy home, SNK!), but I am delighted to taste The Angel's extraordinary skill. A pity about the blood money that funds SNK...
Also, Project L sure looks like a game made by a studio under a ton of workplace misconduct charges that keeps trying to dodge the allegations with Kpop music videos.

The story behind Ángel's creation is so interesting, the Mexican developers from Evoga made a bet against the developers from SNK to add a character to KoF 2001, but luckily for the Evoga team they won so Ángel was added. I saw an interview with the developers from a few years ago and they weren't fans of KoF XIV.
Speaking of SNK, yesterday was Fatal Fury's 30th anniversary but I didn't see anything related, except for a Sakurai post on Twitter with Terry, Joe and Andy. Today was the 22nd anniversary of Garou: MoW as well. I just hope that they add Kim to XV, he has appeared in every mainline KoF.
- SFV: I've played the game with some friends and I had some fun, I'm not a technical player at all but it felt good, the graphics are fine but I don't like the game's artstyle. I don't think Capcom should go the cel-shaded route like ArcSys but I'd like the next SF to look more like the Alpha series.
-DNF: the game looks pretty cool, the only problem I have is it's logo. I know it's a minor thing but a fighting game should have a more inconic logo, and DNF's logo looks an awful lot like Street Fighter's.

Don’t think that’s happening.
Also is wrong to assume there’s going to be a Metal Slug character in KOF 15 considering there’s metal Slug inspired stage?

Made an account specifically to say: thanks for the eurobeat Christmas music! People will shudder in despair at my control over the aux cord this holiday season. Or expand their musical tastes, who knows?
