you think you could've waited more than 24 hrs after the whole season dropped to start your analysis of the ending?? I'm only watching one ep per week so it'll be at least a couple months before reading this article.

People binge-watch this stuff, so from an editorial perspective, no. I assumed that people who hadn't finished the series would simply not read it instead of complain that those who did finish it can read it.

Yeah people are going to blow through this series, I did in like two days! But can't wait to see what you think of it when you're done

The show ended how it should have and it ended well. I didn't expect Drac and Lisa to come back, nor for Isaac and Hector to make it out alive, and especially not for Death to be masquerading as Malcom McDowell ("Why is it that only human hands can reach into Hell? Don't you think that's weirdly fucked up?"). It caps off Trevor's era and leaves things open enough for another generation. Now I just wonder which Belmont we get to follow next

I liked Lenore, so I thought it sad that she felt that she needed to end herself. I was hugely satisfied with the ending of the show, more than I expected. And I think that I am fine with Alucard not seeing his parents, it already felt like he had already been coming to terms with who they were and what their lives meant, that he was ready to move forward, and them just entering again could just complicate things.
I actually did not expect to watch and finish the show so quickly, but I could not helped and watched it over two days.
I would say that I loved the twist of Death, he was the character I had kind of been looking forward to showing up each, and I was slapping myself at not putting the pieces together faster. The thing was that I thought that the alchemist was totally suspicious, her goading to Saint Germain made little sense for her motivations other than her true goal to just bring Dracula back. And Varney pretty much said that he was a top general of Dracula, which to my limited Castlevania knowledge should have pointed to something with how unassuming he was for someone supposedly under Dracula making him suspicious.

No wonder I found the finale way to happy especially for such a violent series

"The Castlevania Ending Explained!" Nope, more like a summary.

Yep, probably. And Trevor then went and explained how he ended up alive.
The fights at the end were pretty intense, especially with Varney's cohorts. The Vlad and Lisa resurrection was a decent surprise, though I would think spending time in hell would leave some traumatized.
Lenore's death makes a certain amount of sense she was already feeling out of place in the world especially now that her "sisters" were gone. I was surprised that Hector was so forgiving of Lenore and not vengeful for what she had done to him. I thought it was a good choice by the producers.
A family reunion would probably not have been a good idea. Dracula taking residence back in his old castle? Easy to get back into old habits and sometimes leaving the past behind is the best way to start over. Alucard was also always going to be living in his parent's shadow if they were still around. Leaving him alone sounds like another good choice.
I do feel that Trevor should have died at the end, it just felt a little like a cheat. However, all that said I really enjoyed the final season. It was a blood pumping good time.

Yeah while the final season was good, the final episode felt like it was.written by.a.different guy based on the last minute twists that barely had foreshadowing

A happy ending for a game series that normally has dracula coming back every 100 years to wreak more havok? Well why not? You dont remember shows that tread the same paths as before and dracula's whole tragic love story actually ties into it quite well.
