No way! Discotek licensed the Tales of Phantasia OVA?! Awesome! Granted, I wonder why they didn't announce it themselves, but they probably will in due time. I remember really liking the OVA when I first saw it even though at the time I knew nothing about the game. I can't wait to own it if it ever comes out on BR via them!

It is rather odd that they haven't said anything about it yet. We actually found out about it several weeks ago when it popped up on Amazon Prime out of the blue.

Discotek tends to wait for a physical release before really promoting their rescues. Legend of Black Heaven was added to Crunchyroll months before Discotek actually talked about it, which was only when the Blu-Ray boxset was announced.

^The same thing happened with Lamune with the only difference being that DVD re-release of Fresh between both seasons hitting Crunchyroll.

For Voltes V ("Five"), I just want to say that at a certain point in the show, it starts pulling the "Your Princess is in Another Castle" trope (and it doesn't done in quite the way you think)...
Incidentally, there had previously been a dubbed compilation movie that came out on...VHS, I guess, back in the...I would guess early 1980s. I saw it on a Roku app that's now been discontinued.
