Given the height of his popularity, this is actually pretty huge. Although I doubt his fandom would react in any extreme manner given how often they joke about his martial status

i feel like in the Japanese industry, any celebrity over 30s has a high chance of being in a relationship, they just hide it from their public image for their career. at 49 yrs old, he's 100% is fine with being married, his popularity can help his career survive.
it's seem hit or miss when it comes to how a celebrity career will survive, take Mamoru Miyano, who got married at the beginning of his career and at a fairly young age (25) and has a kid but is no doubt the most popular seiyuu/anisinger ever.

Though he would more than likely have a low key, courthouse with stamped documents ceremony (such as seen in "Onegai Teacher", wouldn't it be neat if the dude who gave us the awesome music for "Gundam Seed" attends his Grand Day dressed as Kira Yamato, and his Lucky Missus to be dressed as Lacus Clyne?
Either way, so happy for This most Audacious and Righteous Musician.

Congratulations to him, it was very unfortunate how his last marriage ended, so glad he was able to find someone.

Holy crap he's turning 50 soon. I think that's got me more surprised than his marriage. 'Grats to him and his lady.
