Time shift or parallel universe; cool.

Episode 1 is interesting and there were a few mysteries in it already so i now looking forward to watch episode 2 once it is aired and subbed.

episode 2 is a little mellow.

pea-brain Takuya finally decided to do some serious thinking to make sense of happenings in the past and in episode 1.

I don't even know where to begin with this show. I completely and totally love it just from its sheer audacity... it's a harem show with four of the "girls" being woman in their mid twenties, one of them being the guy's stepmom, and he's walking around with a pocket time machine.

Quite simply- do the math or rather consider the possibilities. The main rule of Steins;gate was: Don't use time travel but here it's "Don't worry, it's multiverse travel. If you break the world, there's an infinite amount that are fine."

And that's just the simple "return" function. What if there's a FF or Rewind button as well? And considering the ages of much of the cast, I'd say it's a given there will be aging shenanigans. Not that it seems to matter to Takuya as he already seems to have been in a relationship with one of them already. Not that teacher but give him time.... the guy certainly has a type...

And then there's his stepmom because, well, Domestic Girlfriend didn't go far enough? There's also some ancient civilizations and lost tech, missing parents, a mass murderer going around stealing heads and body parts,,, sounds like portal cuts?... a beautiful roving reporter, a disappearing nude elf, a rich girl/childhood friend/Mayor's daughter combo... and, oh yeah, there appears to have been a staged rape attempt on his stepmother that he prevented. Using time travel. Eventually, after a few tries.

Episode 26 (finale)

It is over, it is really over! I never did any posts for this show, because it was mostly trash, and pretty much stayed that way. Could totally feel like it was some archaic visual novel, where the player had to go through the different routes to get the true ending the last time, the show having the main character Takuya, with a time travel multiverse device. General kind of school setting where he would use the device to play groundhog day, and then all start over after the arc where he would suddenly be interested in or specific events seek out a different girl. All up to about the 18th episode where it suddenly becomes a fantasy like show where he seeks to save the mysterious transfer student.

Pretty much feels like a different show, where everyone has elf ears, there are monsters, and a plot about stopping an evil emperor. and he takes a wife and has a child, even something like a pet dragon. I do feel like I should highlight some of the weird things that happen, befitting the trashiness. His daughter grows quickly and is way too attached to him, eventually his wife dies and goes into his daughter, and they will have the forever together ending. The pet dragon, and other monsters, were once human and were evolved into monster like forms, the dragons in particular are apparently used as food, and said baby dragon becomes a sexy body woman who Taichi may have in fact ate. His stepmother, who he had a crush on in the first half, is the supreme emperor, who may not have created the awful rule in the world, such as slavery, bad people in power, and human-dragon diet, but she did apparently let it continue, and kind of feels like was forgotten and forgiven in the end. And the mysterious transfer student, who was like a long living teenage prostitute, turned out to also be his future daughter from him having sex with before the final battle, which kind of has no time for him to help as he goes into eternity with his first daughter.

It is weird yo, also kind of gratuitous in implications, and a bit of a major issue I had with the show. It is kind of perverted, not that I mean just in an ecchi way, the show is set in the 90s, and it kind of feels like it belongs there in being super inappropriate. Taichi pretty much harasses all female characters, but it is presented in such a way that looks like he is just a scamp, and that he actually is a good guy, and every female character is actually okay with him being kind of sexist to them. Added where he has to be kind of an ass to a male character who is closer to his step mother than he would like, apparently forgiven because that guy is evil. And not like every female character kind of just makes it easy for him, acting like some sort of porn character. Maybe not that bad, but there is just something that feels off about it all, like it all comes from a time that it where a hero would not be called out on sexual harassment. I am kind of reminded of this scene from Kuma Miko. Every other male character either a yes man, or like a secret rapist.

I really don't want to talk about this too much. My rating would be Not really good (4/10), but maybe not a total waste of time, I could see getting some enjoyment out of it, but just doesn't feel like the stuff we should expect to see now days.

Big chunks of the sexuality of this show come from two of the sources. There was an ecchi/kinda porny dating sim game from 1996, and there was a 4 release porno anime that followed all the paths for the female characters, so to speak, in 1998.

Link to ANN article announcing the current show in 2018/09, the above is mentioned towards the end:
