Remember all those old shows that featured ridiculous criminals? If they were still on,this guy would be on it. I doubt the sentence they're going to give him is going to be any sort of joke. But,come on. Cosplaying as Shinji Ikari while robbing homes? How pathetic do you have to be to dress up as Shinji Ikari to commit any sort of robbery?

The cosplay looks like Unit-01 rather than Shinji himself. The source TV clip doesn't mention which Evangelion character was cosplayed either.

Only in Japan could this happen. We only get robbers in hoodies (sometimes shades) handing out notes at the bank and not expecting to be caught on camera.
Well, there was that guy who wandered into someone's home with a samurai sword. Oh there was the guy dressed as plant that was naked trying to rob a convenient store. |
