Glad to hear she's back. It's actually kinda interesting that she and Sailor Mercury did have the studying abroad idea in common.

She has been credited normally for her role in BanG Dream S2. Was wondering if she recorded everything before going (sounds unlikely if she went in May), came back for some days to record stuff or recorded there and sent to Japan.

She also recorded three songs, two drama CDs (her's and Hina's) and a voice role in a stage play for Tsukiuta in the past few months (she plays Kurisu, the December goddess). I'd like to know how that worked, too. If she had a way to send it, I wonder what that means for the future of voice acting/international casts...? Or for how far in advance these things can be done... |

Might work different for Japanese productions but the Brazilian dub actor for Ash in Pokémon went to study abroad for a few years, he actually made a arrangement with a studio there to record his lines and send them back. |

I could see the future of voice acting being more international with voice actors learning more languages. For an example, Mari Iijima voicing Minmay in Macross for both Japanese and English versions. And I believe Yuri Lowenthal went to Japan to voice a role in a Japanese anime. So I wouldn't be surprised to hear Japanese studios start international dubbing in-studio than depending on overseas studios. |

Some VAs go to studios in other cities, or even have their own recording studios to do their jobs.
