Since this brought up dogs, here we go: black Labs are my favorite dog followed closely by the Akita (both the Akita Inu and American Akita). Third is the English Mastiff and Tosa Inu (my very avatar is one) are tied for 3rd.

I'm curious about how the hell they're going to pull this off.

Finland already have realized stage play of Ginga.
Ginga Is as popular as Dragon Ball in Finland even now.

Wow, talk about a blast from the past! I wonder why they decided to make a play of this now? I always liked Gin, so I'm excited to see how this turns out!
Just two notes for you ANN: Your blurb says it's about 'wolves' but there are no wolves in it (to the best of my memory, but it's been a few years), it's just dogs. And ComicsOne only published 3 volumes, not very much of the manga.

I think wolves show up in the manga in an arc that takes place after the defeat of Akakabuto (so of course it never got animated since the Ginga Nagareboshi Gin anime ended before it started). But, yeah, for the most part it's just dogs, which is to be expected since it takes place in Japan and their two native wolf subspecies are extinct.
