I don't know about the designs (they do remind me of someone's style... can't quite place it though), but the cutscenes definitely look like Polygon's work.

The art style reminds me of Soejima of recent Persona fame.
The eyes, cheeto-like mouth shading, and necks are much like his style. |

I've never played a FE game before, so as a lifelong Nintendo fan I'm kind of ashamed...
I'm really excited to get this one for my Switch and play the heck out of it. Out of curiousity, if I would play one FE game just to get the taste for it, which one should I play? The 3DS has multiple ones and the older consoles do too, so I'm a bit overwhelmed. |

Awakening is good entry point into the series, or at least it was for me, so I would recommend that one. Fates is an alright choice as well, but you might be better off with Awakening gameplay and story wise. |

It's still in development, but the graphics look pretty... rough...?
The Switch is not a slouch so certainly they can do much better than that... |
